Vue FesJapan 2026
The main visual of Vue Fes Japan 2026. It features a silhouette of a V, representing Vue, and a circle, representing the Japanese flag, side by side. The colors are deep matcha-like shades derived from the two colors, and the circle features a Japanese gold marbling pattern.

WebGL Animation for Brands (Tentative)

WebGL animation isn't just about making websites look impressive — it's also a means of visually communicating a brand's personality and worldview.

In this talk, drawing on examples from projects I've worked on over roughly a decade as a WebGL developer, I'll share how WebGL animation for brands actually gets made.

The process of understanding a designer's concepts and abstract imagery, and translating them into shape, color, motion, and interaction. Designing the boundary between what designers can adjust and what developers manage. And how to judge the line between expressive quality and performance in order to make it all work as a real website. I'll introduce what I've thought through in actual production work, together with concrete examples.

The content of this session is subject to change before the day of the event.
