Accelerating UI Catalog Release Cycles in Large-Scale Monorepos with Vite and TypeScript Project References

In the Web frontend of CyberAgent group Infrastructure Unit (CIU), we operate a monorepo that bundles over 50 packages.

This monorepo serves as an SDK containing UI components, common logic, and API clients for CIU's Web frontend, and is used in the development of various CIU services.

In this LT, I'll talk about how we're accelerating releases for the UI catalog provided by the SDK using Vite.

In particular, I'll introduce how we combine TypeScript's Project References, which we use for monorepo management, with Vite to speed up the development server while reducing the time required for production changes.
