Vue FesJapan 2026
The main visual of Vue Fes Japan 2026. It features a silhouette of a V, representing Vue, and a circle, representing the Japanese flag, side by side. The colors are deep matcha-like shades derived from the two colors, and the circle features a Japanese gold marbling pattern.

From Nuxt Content to OxContent: Taking on a Blog Platform Overhaul for 1,000+ Pages

While operating a blog site with more than 1,000 pages using Nuxt Content and NuxtHub, worsening performance and maintainability as the number of documents grew became a major challenge. To break through this issue, I introduced Ox Content, a next-generation Rust-based tool, into our Nuxt 4 site.

In this session, I'll first explain the original technical architecture of the Nuxt 4 site and then share the outcomes we gained by introducing Ox Content. I'll also cover approaches we considered but did not adopt—such as moving from SSR to SSG and switching from Nuxt to another framework—through the lens of technology selection.

By sharing the trial-and-error behind balancing performance and developer experience in large-scale static content delivery, I also hope to highlight the appeal of personal development, where you can try new technologies with ease.
